CSC Privacy Policy

Policy Number: R-3            Effective Date:  June 9, 2007

With respect to interactions with members, CSC shall seek to provide appropriate confidentiality or privacy:

1. CSC shall note use application or order forms that elicit information for which there is no clear necessity.
2. CSC shall not use methods of collecting, reviewing, transmitting or storing client information that fail to protect against improper access to the material gathered.
3. CSC shall not make any individual member or customer data available outside the organization, except for the purposes of law enforcement and fraud prevention, and only with the appropriate confidentiality measures.
4. CSC shall ensure that member personal information, whether in paper or electronic form is stored securely.
5. CSC shall make members aware of the organization's privacy policy.
6. CSC shall ensure that a grievance process exists to address members' complaints regarding privacy
